sat am. 05.22.10

skies remain 100% cloudless early this saturday morning, so the sun will begin baking us right away when it peeks over the mountain at about 645am. we will be above 30c (86f) for the next several days... and temps may go considerably higher than that, as a massive dome of hot air continues to build from pakistan into the northern half of india. a bit of energy in the upper atmosphere is going to pass through later today and sunday, and that means we have to include the chance of a random thunderstorm or two... but any extended, significant heat relief will be lacking, all the way into the middle of next week...

SATURDAY: mostly sunny and warmer. just a slight chance of a brief, isolated late afternoon thundershower.
high: 31C (87F)

SATURDAY NIGHT: clear to partly cloudy skies with a continuing small chance of a thundershower.
low: 21C (70F)

SUNDAY: partly cloudy and very warm with one or two passing thunderstorms possible.
high: 31C (87F)

MONDAY: sun and just a few clouds... heat continues.
high: 31C (88F)

TUESDAY: lots of sunshine. even warmer!
high: 32C (89F)

WEDNESDAY: no break in the heat... sunny skies.
high: 32C (89F)
