sun pm. 05.30.10

...and it did turn out to be a near perfect sunday. lots of sun in the morning, a few clouds in the afternoon, and temps maxing out around 26c/80f. looking ahead, our warming trend will continue through wednesday, but it's now looking likely that we won't equal the extreme heat of last week. still, it will be plenty warm, with humidity on the increase by wednesday. the latest computer models are bringing in some fierce thunderstorm activity for the end of the week which definitely bears close watching. along with the storm potential will come some cooler temperatures. trekkers: head to the mountains during the first half of the week!

MONDAY: lots of sunshine with warmer temps.

TUESDAY: sunny... warming trend continues.
high: 31C (87F)

WEDNESDAY: hazy sunshine early... but increasing clouds with a chance of thunderstorms by evening. still very warm.

THURSDAY: partly to mostly cloudy with periods of showers and thunderstorms likely. not as warm.
high: 29C (84F)

FRIDAY: much cooler, with a good chance of showers and storms.
