sun am. 06.06.10

the upper-level disturbance which brought us rain and thunderstorms on thursday into friday night is now spinning into western china. the satellite pic is showing gloriously clear skies now from the caspian sea all the way into the himalayas of northern india. further south, however, from southern pakistan into rajasthan, the remains of a tropical cyclone are bringing thick clouds and heavy rains. it looks like our sunday will be very very nice... with plenty of sun and comfortably warm temperatures. but be on the lookout for changes on monday! some of that tropical moisture is expected to get pulled up in our direction, and that means we have a decent chance of picking up some heavy rainfall on monday into tuesday. the computer solutions are still a bit contradictory on this one, so keep advised if you have outdoor plans...
