sunday morning>

it's 23c/74f very early on this sunday morning... and today has the potential for being the hottest of the year. actually both monday and tuesday could be in that category as well. our big dome of high pressure aloft is still in place, and that will keep our very warm and dry weather pattern going until the middle of the week. the only exception to the rule could be some random, isolated late afternoon thundershowers over the mountains, due to the heat rising into relatively cooler air aloft. we're now seeing indications that changes are on the way by the latter half of the week. temps will start to cool down a bit, and shower/thunderstorm chances will increase. in fact, it is possible that monsoon moisture will begin to sneak into the area next weekend.! stay tuned for updates...

SUNDAY: mostly sunny in the morning, and partly cloudy in the afternoon. HOT, with a slight chance of a late-day thundershower.
high: 32C (90F)

SUNDAY NIGHT: an isolated evening thundershower is not out of the question. otherwise becoming mostly clear. warm.
low: 24C (75F)

MONDAY: partly cloudy and continued hot, with a small chance of a PM storm.
high: 32C (90F)

TUESDAY: partly to mostly sunny...continued very warm. still that late day thundershower possible.
high: 32C (89F)

WEDNESDAY: partly cloudy and not quite as warm... but more humid.
high: 31C (87F)

THURSDAY: partly cloudy, warm and muggy... a better chance of some showers or storms developing.
high: 29C (84F)
