wednesday morning>

it has now been raining pretty much non-stop since around 5 o'clock last evening... although the intensity has been light to moderate for the most part. i recorded 0.83" (2.1cm) overnight, which brings the total for the past 24 hours up to 1.30" (3.3cm). will receive totals from near the main temple and naddi later in the morning. currently, it is raining, and 18C/64F.

**UPDATE @ NOON** rainfall since yesterday evening:
-near main temple... 1.70" (4.3cm)
-upper mcleod ganj... 1.30" (3.3cm)
-naddi village... 1.57" (4cm)

satellite pics are showing a few clusters of rain and thundershowers covering much of punjab and western parts of himachal pradesh, dissipating, with little movement. the rain will taper off, but redevelopment is likely. our computer model guidance is showing very little mercy as far as rain potential during the next several days. we'll get a few breaks here and there, but some steady, persistent rains, along with occasional heavy downpours are expected right into the weekend. temperatures will remain very stable... hovering between 17 and 21C (63-70F).
