friday morning>

thick clouds are keeping it quite dark early this morning... with some showers around the area. thunder has been rumbling since about 4am, but there has been very little rain here in upper mcleod ganj. totals from last evening are 0.65" (1.7cm) near the main temple, and 0.24" (6mm) here at the weathergeek office. our temp this morning is 18C/64F.

all kinds of heavy showers and thunderstorm action have occurred to our south since last evening. punjab really got hit hard. there was even a big difference across our immediate area... reports of very heavy rainfall in dharamsala... but as i mentioned, very little in the rain gauge here in the upper part of town. we'll be dodging showers and thundershowers again today... with some areas picking up heavy rain, and some getting hardly anything at all. still indications that we may get a bit more sunshine as we head into the weekend, along with a little less of the thick fog. however, monsoon conditions will still be with us... assuring at least the potential for a round of heavy showers almost every day...
