saturday morning (16oct)>

clear skies... and a mild 16C/61F just before sunrise this morning.

more super-fine october weather on the way for the weekend.  both today and tomorrow should feature unlimited sunshine until just after noon... with a build-up of clouds over the tops of the mountains for a couple of hours during the mid-afternoon.  temperatures will be on the warm side for this time of year, and even the night-time temps will be a few degrees milder than normal.  i'm still keeping an eye on a turn to slightly more unstable conditions early next week, which could bring a random afternoon thundershower or two... but the new data this morning looks pretty unimpressive.  plan on a continuation of the nice weather for the next several days, but as always, if you're going to be trekking/camping in the mountains, it's very smart to always be prepared for a sudden storm.

SATURDAY: sunny this morning.  becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.  super nice!

SUNDAY: sunny in the morning, with a few afternoon clouds.

TUESDAY: a mix of sun and some (mainly afternoon) clouds.  an isolated PM thundershower?
high: 21C (69F)

WEDNESDAY: partly to mostly sunny... still rather mild.
