generally quiet... (am.18.feb.11)>

another chilly morning... 38F (3.3C) up here at the wxgeek office, with mostly clear skies to start the day.  these clear skies may not last long though, as there is already another weak upper-level disturbance moving into pakistan, and it's spreading a batch of high clouds our way.

although we can't look forward to a completely quiet weather pattern during the next several days, there is nothing on the way that will even remotely resemble our last storm system.  this approaching series of weak disturbances may stir up a few showers from saturday afternoon through sunday (along with more snow above 2100m/6900ft)... but amounts of rain and snow should be relatively light.

our temperatures remain well below normal for the latter half of february, despite the slow moderation between now and the first part of next week.

FRIDAY: mostly sunny early, then becoming partly cloudy.
high: 11C (51F)

FRIDAY NIGHT: partly cloudy... not as cold.
low: 4C (40F)

high: 11C (52F)

MONDAY: partly to mostly sunny.

TUESDAY: a mix of sun and a few clouds.  rather pleasant.
high: 13C (55F)
