on auto-pilot... (pm.22.mar.11)>

what a day!  skies are mostly clear this evening, after a day with lots of sun and only a few clouds... and a very comfortable high temp of 70.3F (21.3C).  we had a few patches of high, thin cirrus clouds, along with a little build-up of cumulus clouds over the mountains... but the sunshine was definitely the feature player.

so far, there is nothing appearing that holds the potential to spoil our recent nice weather pattern.  temperatures should remain fairly steady, or maybe rise just a little during the rest of the week, as things remain pretty stable in the upper atmosphere.  the only chance of rain will be in the mountains, where there could be a brief, isolated shower or two during the afternoons.

things may turn on us just a bit over the weekend, however... computer models are forecasting an upper level disturbance to arrive on sunday, and that will give us a better chance of a few showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two.  by the way, check the SUMMER OUTLOOK tab above, if you're interested in reading about typical weather patterns in mcleod ganj during the coming three months before monsoon season arrives...
