out like a lamb... (pm.31.mar.11)>

we're winding up a near-perfect day... with mostly sunny skies this evening, after a high temp of 71.1F (21.7C).  a few cumulus clouds tried hard to develop over the mountains this afternoon, but could never get to the stage of producing any thunder or even sprinkles.  march is definitely going out like a lamb...

the various computer models are in dispute today, regarding the weather pattern which will evolve as we head into the weekend.  one model is showing a very aggressive upper-level disturbance plowing through, while the other two models are much more conservative.  at any rate, there IS some kind of a storm system on the way, which will increase our clouds once again, give us a better chance of some showers and thunderstorms, gusty winds, and even bring in some cooler temperatures by sunday and monday.

all in all it looks like things will trend toward wetter and cooler during the first week of april.  check back here for updates as the weekend forecast comes together...
