another good one... (am.24.may.11)>

clear skies before sunrise... the early morning low has been a comfortable 67.1F (19.5C) here at the top of mcleod ganj.

quiet weather prevails across all of northern india again this morning, as we continue to enjoy the effects of a weak ridge of high pressure in the middle and upper-levels of the atmosphere.  these stable conditions should continue for another day and a half before a new series of disturbances aloft start to destabilize the atmosphere again... leading to a good chance of some thunderstorm action.  right now, i'd put the best chance of storms on thursday, but honestly... any time between mid-day wednesday and saturday there is a pretty good potential for something to pop up.

temperatures will be on the rise both today and tomorrow... but the increasing chance of showers and storms will stifle that warming trend for the latter part of the week.  still, we'll remain in the ballpark of "normal" for the final week of may.
