9:05pm... it's really windy up here, but the rain has stopped for the moment. temp has risen back up to 75.7F (24.3C). my total rainfall for the day is 0.23" (6mm).
8:33pm... just checked the rain gauge and am very surprised (and happy) to see 0.19" (5mm) has accumulated during the last hour and a half or so. more than i expected. still some light rain falling... but things seem to have calmed down for now.
7:55pm... the rain is still light, but gusty winds continue, along with occasional thunder and lightning. my temp has dropped to 68F (20C). the coolest up here in exactly one week.
7:32pm... natural air conditioning. a very large area of thundershowers continues to develop to our northwest, moving into the western half of himachal pradesh. i have light rain, occasional thunder and lightning and wind gusts of 45mph (72kph) here. no power at the moment.
