continued progress... (pm.21.sep.11)>

we've got clouds, a bit of fog, and some glimpses of the setting sun this evening.  there has been NO RAINFALL today (thus far), with a mid-day high temp of 72.5F (22.5C).

there are no dramatic changes to report... today's lack of rain was nice, but we still had to contend with the rapid build-up of clouds and brief periods of fog from the noon hour into the late afternoon.  what we are dealing with is a tremendous improvement over what was happening exactly one week ago, and gradual and incremental improvements can be expected as we head toward the weekend.  that means we will still be dealing with some clouds and a bit of fog by the mid-day hours... and there will be at least a mentionable chance of a light, passing shower.  but the good news is that average humidity readings will continue to edge downward, with a slightly higher percentage of sunshine as the days pass.

my laundry, which included a couple of fairly thick towels, almost completely dried today... and that is definitely a positive sign!
