rainless days... (pm.23.sep.11)>

happy first day of fall...

clouds and fog have thickened up again this evening, after a day which has featured a greater percentage of sunshine than we've seen thus far during these dying days of the monsoon.  there was zero rainfall again today (the third in a row without so much as a drop), and our high temp reached a comfortable 74.3F (23.5C).

the first official monsoon withdrawal declaration was issued today... check the MONSOON'S DEMISE tab above for details.  no official declaration for us yet though, and it will be interesting to see what the IMD decides to do, considering the rainfall has pretty much ended, but the late day fog remains.

there are no significant changes to the general weather pattern expected for the next several days, so we'll have to rely on some gradually drier air sneaking in from the northwest to eventually stifle the PM interludes of clouds and fog.  i am hesistant to completely remove the risk of showers from the forecast, but any rainfall that occurs should be rather isolated and light, as has been the case for nearly a week now.

FRIDAY NIGHT: some clouds and areas of fog around this evening, then becoming mostly clear.
low: 17C (63F)

SATURDAY: morning sunshine giving way to periods of clouds and fog by mid-day.  slight risk of a PM shower.
high: 23C (74F)

SUNDAY: mostly sunny AM, partly to mostly cloudy PM with an isolated shower possible.
high: 23C (74F)

MONDAY: partly to mostly sunny skies.  nice temps.
high: 23C (73F)

TUESDAY: sunny in the morning, a few clouds in the afternoon.
high: 23C (73F)

WEDNESDAY: sunny to partly cloudy.
high: 23C (74F)
