sun & thunder... (am.8.oct.11)>

it is partly sunny early this morning... and rather mild.  the overnight low was 62.3F (16.8C), and there has been no rainfall.  the humidity reading at sunrise was 59%... the lowest early morning reading this season!

although we've still been getting a couple of hours of fairly thick clouds and some periods of fog during the mid-afternoon through the early evening hours during the past few days, there has been a significant drop in the average humidity levels recently.  sunshine has been easier to come by, and moods are brightening.

a weak upper-level disturbance is drifting through northern india today, and will trigger more scattered showers and thunderstorms by this afternoon.  we narrowly escaped yesterday (we had thunder, but no rain), but today could be our turn.  enjoy the periods of sun today, but be prepared to take shelter in case of a sudden storm.  this upper-level system will fizzle out tomorrow... leaving us with what looks to be a stretch of nice weather as we head into next week.

SATURDAY: partly sunny skies.  a good chance of a couple of showers and/or thunderstorms in the area this afternoon.
