sunshine presides... (am.8.nov.11)>

there are a few patches of high cirrus clouds drifting through just prior to sunrise, otherwise skies are mostly clear this morning.  the overnight low has been 52.7F (11.5C), and the humidity stands at 52%.

other than satellite photos, there is not a shred of new data available this morning... computers are down somewhere, obviously.  will just update the short term and wait til new data comes in before making any other adjustments to the going forecast.

still looking nice for another couple of days... plenty of sun... gradually rising temps... comfortable november weather!  this high pressure ridge is centered right over north india today, keeping things quiet, but by the end of the week, it will start to break down, which could bring us a chance of a shower or two, and eventually usher in some cooler temps over the weekend.

*by the way, in case you missed it... there was a 5.5 earthquake in the hindu kush region of extreme northeastern afghanistan, near the pakistan border last evening at 5:29pm IST.  i felt it... gentle shaking that seemed to last only about 5-10 seconds here.  thought i had an overactive imagination til i checked online last night.  a short article here.
