more like spring... (am.12.mar.12)>

Our sky is mostly sunny early this morning.  It is much milder... I've recorded an overnight low temperature of 50.9F (10.5C).  A sign of things to come this week!

Not sure how long this sun will last... we have an approaching upper-level disturbance which will be moving through the area during the next 36 hours or so.  It lacks the dynamic energy of last week's storm system, and it is also starved for moisture, so it is unlikely that we'll see anything close to the amount of rain that we received early last week.  Still... be on the lookout for showers and thunderstorms which could develop anytime between this afternoon and Tuesday afternoon.  Inclement weather will be more likely higher up in the mountains, so be prepared if you are venturing there, or maybe hold off for a day or two.

We may have "turned the corner" with regard to our springtime temps.  The first part of the week looks very pleasant, but the last part is starting to look downright warm, especially by Friday.  Stay tuned...
