weekend warmth... (am.24.mar.12)>

As the sun peeks above the mountains early this Saturday morning, we have 100% clear skies.  Even the haze and the high clouds have disappeared... at least for now.  The overnight low at my place on Tushita Road just below the mountaineering center has been a mild 59.2F (15.1C).  Humidity remains very low, at 27%.

It looks like a fine day on the way... with a good amount of sunshine and pleasantly warm temperatures.  The weather pattern remains quiet and generally stable... and should stay that way until at least late Sunday.  There could be a few patches of clouds either drifting through or developing over the mountains from time to time, while temps challenge the warmest readings of the year, which occurred last Sunday and Monday.  Dress for summer if you're heading down past Dharamsala today!

Our atmosphere is going to start becoming more disturbed and unstable during the first part of next week.  Although rain chances don't look very great, we'll at least have to be back in the mode of watching for some scattered shower and thunderstorm activity... from Sunday night through Wednesday.  Of course there will be plenty of sun during that time as well, with temps hanging just slightly below normal for the latter part of March...
