subtle improvements... (am.03.jun.12)>

It's a partly cloudy and pleasantly warm Sunday morning.  I recorded an overnight low of 73.6F (23.1C), which is the coolest since last Tuesday (although it's not really a cool "low" temp at all).  There has been no rainfall overnight, with just a trace reported in the past 24 hours.

Minor adjustments happening in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere are going to yield subtle benefits for us during the coming days.  Although we're not going to cool down dramatically, it looks like our temps will be slightly milder this week than last, perhaps even dropping to near normal by Wednesday and Thursday.  In fact, all across north India the heatwave conditions of the latter half of last week will be gradually easing considerably.

Some random, weak disturbances drifting through in the upper-levels will give us a few opportunities for a passing thundershower this week, but there are no organized storm systems in the forecast, and moisture remains very limited.  Overall, our pattern continues to favor drier and slightly warmer than normal temps for this mid-summer season...
