CHOLSUM TIBETAN RESTAURANT

Located in the neighborhood of Jackson Heights, in the northwest part of the Queens borough of New York City, Cholsum Tibetan Restaurant is newly opened for business.  The owner, from the Amdo region of Tibet, was the creator and founder of the original Cholsum Restaurant in the heart of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala, India -- the epicenter of the Tibetan-in-exile community, and home of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

'Cholsum' refers to the three provinces of Tibet -- U-Tsang, Amdo and Kham -- and is a name which evokes emotional and rather passionate responses among Tibetans now scattered all over the world.

Their simple menu boasts of authentic Tibetan food at very affordable prices.  More photos are on the way...
